Ryan Couture, son of UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture, stepped inside the ring for the final time as an amateur last Friday and fought to a draw against Sean Bollinger -- despite going unconscious during one point of the fight.
In the final seconds of the second round of the three, three-minute round fight (video above), the 27-year-old Couture went limp from a triangle choke, but was allowed to return for the third when the referee deemed that he passed out after the bell.

Man is that a tough call. That was right at the bell and poped right back up when he let it go. I would agree with the ref I think. Had he decided to stop the fight I could handle that too. Def a 10-8 round maybe 10-7 to be honest.

A 10-7 wtf??? Judges almost never give out 10-7 rds and this definetely didnt deserve it. They didnt even give BJ-Sanchez rd 1 a 10-7 or Cain-rothwell rd 1. I dont even think rd 2 in this fight was a 10-8 rd. Couture was winning in the standup in rd 2 and took him down, only in the last minute of the rd did bollinger work in his submission game and sinch in the triangle.

No fight should continue if one of the combatants has lost consciousness.
