IMO there is now sub threat and probably the 1st one to get on his back loses .

I give a slight speed advantage to Lesnar and the power advantage to Carwin.

PS: I hope Lesnar will get his thoughts on marketing straight after this KO ;-)

What are your perditions?

it'd be cool if Carwin could beast him, but i don't see that happening. Brock will probably take him down and hold him there GSP style, then hit'em in the face with his gorilla fists a few million times.

Ring rust may play a big factor in this fight. The size and speed advantage both go to Brock. The punching power goes to Carwin. The wrestling advantage, in my opinion is in Brock's favor.

Interesting match up and I can't wait for it. I am finally seeing Shane as a contender and not a pretender.

None of this matters because Cain Velasquez is going to wreck the winner of this bout anyway after he destroys JDS.

I think Carwin will KO both Lesnar and JDS although get them differently, I think Lesnar will be a flash hit, JDS will have his ground game expossed and suffer a GNP loss. Just my guess, not my picks though. I think JDS should fight Mir while he's in the waiting line, then if Mir won (not too likely but possible) and Brock lost (same, it is possible) then we could get Mir Brock 3 without it being some big TUF involving title fight. Just a good old fashioned 3 round scrap....winner takes all!

I got Carwin by devastating ko. Brock still doesn't look that good standing and I think Carwin will use his boxing and keep his distance.

It's amazing how the heavyweight division was so weak not so long ago, to becoming the deepest, as far as title contenders goes now.

At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in the playground is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no props, and may the mods have mercy on your soul.

I agree. And yeah I think the HW division is the most stacked division as of right now.

why would Carwin have ring rust? he just fought last week, and a few months later, he'll be fighting again. Lesnar will have been out of the Cage for almost a full year, as well as not having that full year for training.

He was referring to Carwins fight with Mir. It had been over a year since Carwin last fought Gonzaga.
I really doubt ring rust will be much of a factor.

And I disagree with the person who said "First person on their back will lose" I really think that if it goes to the ground it could turn out to be an excellent, back and forth wrestling match. I think this is going to be an exciting fight! And I think it's very possible Brock could be the first guy to make it out of the first round with Carwin.
That being said, I think Brock is going to win. Brock is a beast and can take some punishment. I don't think Carwin will be able to one punch KO Lesnar.

IMO Brock is going to have a hell of a time taking Carwin down. His "Bull rush" TD will NOT work against a wrestler of Shane's ability. I see Carwin TKOing Brock on a sloppy double leg shot!
