We're underway!
Tonight's card:
Prelims:
Matt Riddle beat Greg Soto by DQ (illegal upkick) at 1:30 of round 3.
Jared Hamman beat Rodney Wallace by unanimous decision, 3 29-28s.
Rousimar Palhares beat Tomasz Drwal by submission (heel hook) in 45 seconds.

TV fights (9-10 PM ET on Spike):
Ricardo Almeida beat Matt Brown by submission (rear naked choke) at 3:20 of round 2.
Nate Diaz vs. Rory Markham*

PPV (10 PM-1 AM ET):
Fabricio Camoes vs. Kurt Pellegrino
Mark Bocek vs. Jim Miller
Jon Fitch vs. Ben Saunders
Shane Carwin vs. Frank Mir for the Interim UFC Heavyweight Championship (5 rounds)
UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre vs. Dan Hardy for the title (5 rounds)

*-Markham missed weight at the weigh-ins. He could not lose the needed weight in 1 hour (6 pounds). I understand he will be fined at least $1000, or roughly 12.5% of his fight purse (presumably $8000 before any possible win bonus)

Do we know the deal with Markham? Did he have a medical situation leading up to the fight that he couldn't healthily cut the necessary weight? If not, 6-7 pounds over is pretty unreasonable.

No Riddle here-we're starting late. In other news, The Butler Did It Again and Cub Swanson needs some bionic hands. Butler's Final 4 bound and Swanson's off WEC 48. Hands. Leonard Garcia now faces Chan Sung Jung.

And headed to round 2. Guess they decided to wait a bit with only 3 prelims.

To round 3. Junkie has it 20-18 Riddle.

How does the DQ affect points? Do you still get 5 pts for picking Riddle?

The fighters trade punches without much effect before Riddle hits another double. Riddle sets up in Soto's guard and postures up to strike. Soto lands a vicious illegal right upkick and referee Keith Peterson immediately intervenes. Riddle looks wobbly but wants to continue. The fight looks like it is about to be restarted but Riddle motions to his corner and the commission. It is determined he is not fit to continue and it seems his corner is telling him he got kicked. He doesn't appear to remember the incident. The fight is called and Matt Riddle is declared the winner by disqualification at 1:30 of the third round.

You still get 5 points if you had the right winner.
