“I’m actually far from cleaning out my division,” said Silva through an interpreter Tuesday during a UFC 112 conference call. “I feel like there may be guys that are even better than me coming into the UFC. Proof that there’s tough guys in the division is Demian Maia right now. Going to be a big challenge for me.” “My goal is still to put on as many great fights in the UFC, as many victories as I can throughout the three divisions -- middleweight, light heavyweight and possibly heavyweight, Heavyweight is definitely something I have in mind. It’s in my plans. I’ve been adapting my training to take on that challenge.”

Cain Carwin and Mir vs Anderson not at te same time would b sick as well Anderson's skill and speed translated at lhw, and it would at hw also. The only exception would be on the ground, where a bigger wrestler or bjj guy would smoother him prolly.

What happened to him retiring once his contract was up?
Could Silva be flip flopping again???? No!!! Never!!! I hope he does stay on the UFC's roster for a while. He's far too talented to leave now

he's probably just setting it up so that he could possibly fight Fedor at some point. If he could beat Fedor then he would be the undisputed best pound 4 pound fighter assuming they both remained dominant up until their fight.
also, i just made all that up and he might not have even heard of Fedor...because of the language barrier.

I think if Silva could keep it stading, he could beat Fedor by ud, or possibly ko if his power translates as well at hw as did at lhw. I doubt M-1 would approve even though Silva is a mw.
Silva is the man and I hope he stays in the UFC forever. Until he is in a walker and has oxygen tanks. The only thing about Silva is I can't stand him for some reason. I think its his personality, or I think he's cocky but trying to act humble (imo). I would love to see him get beat by Maia or anyone for that matter. But even though I wanna see him lose, I will always wanna watch him fight.

no way heavyweight i still think if he beats maia he should give up the belt at 185 and make a run at 205

I think that there are still a few more fights for him at 185 before he should commit to going up into 205, or HW for that matter.
Assuming he gets past Maia (I see no reason why), I would love to see him in a fight against Belfort, as that was the original fight for Abu Dhbai in the first place. After that fight he may have reason to hang it up at 185, but even then you have Sonnen lurking in the background.

...
I think Anderson has a better chance, of beating Fedor, than half of the top ten HW's...

Anderson vs Fedor would be epic but I think Fedor would throw him around and pull off a sub or a ground and pound TKO.

I would approve of Anderson at HW if he can win the belt/beat the 'best' fighter at LHW.
I'd love to see Anderson fight some more elite competition at LHW! It would be very cool if he could hold both the MW and the LHW belts at the same time....and it seems possible.

Well if they're going to let Toney box, why not let Andy box to?
