"When James Irvin announced his intentions to drop to 185 pounds from his normal 205 there was no one more skeptical than me. Irvin had always been a guy with an action figure physique and to cut 20 pounds from a frame lacking in fat was going to take either losing muscle (strength) or a massive amount of dehydration before the weigh-ins (energy).
When Irvin showed up to the UFC on Versus 1 weigh-ins for his first fight in a year I don't think anyone was expecting to see this:"

I never realized until the weigh-ins that the fight was happening at 185, Irvin looked like a meth addict, I still stuck with my pick, I should have known better.

I would wanna see Irvin fight at lhw or hw against kimbo. I wonder if DW made him drop, or if he wanted to. he looks like skeletor imo.

He has no buissness at 185, and after the crap he pulled in that Sakara fight he doesnt really seem to have any buissness in MMA. like seriously, toughen up. He was one of my favorite C class fighters to watch. but he showed he has no heart.

He got punched in the eyeball. You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.
Fighters get grazed in the eye by eye pokes all the time and it HURTS, so their reaction is to grab their eye and turn away and hope the ref saw the eye poke.
Now imagine how much worse it would hurt to get a professional boxer punching you in the eye. No heart? Stfu.

Dana said he's done at 185 (good call) but also siad he was a fan of the sandman, so we may get to see one more at 205, but he can't hang with the top 205ers.
