Topics include whether it is tougher to transition from boxing to MMA or the other way around, which MMA fighter would fair best in boxing, which Boxer would do best in MMA, and which sport has the brighter future. Sorry I forgot to post the link the first time link

I have always had a lot of respect for Roach. I get tired of the whole which is better argument. Apples and Oranges. Just because they are both round, doesn't mean they taste the same.

I like him because he's actually willing to learn, and isn't just another boxing coach set in his ways. His MMA/boxing students don't have the best record of success, but that'll change over time as Roach learns the game.

I've heard BJ Penn is doing pretty good right now...

Roach is one of the few guys that has a great back ground in boxing but is open to change. He isn't set in his ways and knows that he has to be open minded. That says a lot about the guy right there. We have a lot of guys in MMA and boxing that don't have that quality.

fully agree with everything he said. Big difference from the things he was saying a year or two ago, he's obviously learning a lot about the sport pretty quickly.

He hasn't trained with him in a long time. It just seems that every time someone says "He trained with Freddie Roach for this fight" they get KO'd. Hardy is the only exception when he fought Davis.
