Light heavyweights Rich Franklin and Chuck Liddell are penciled in for a June showdown.
MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) has learned from sources close to the promotion that the two have verbally agreed to face each other in June at UFC 115, though contracts have yet to be finalized. link

I'm OK with this....leads me to think one thing tho...
Franklin was rumored to face Couture...Couture is Free to fight whoever Now....
Couture wants James Toney....
Dana is only gonna give Toney good competition...
THIS is the kind of fight that would steal the audience from strikeforce on free TV...
My totally out of right field prediction for the day:
Couture vs. Toney, April 17, Free on Spike

as much as i dont think its beyond ufc to try to pull some bs like that its too soon imo. not enough time for the fighters. maybe on one of the upcoming ufcs on ppv tho.

So now we have two TUF seasons in a row where the coaches don't fight afterward even though it was a supposed lock to happen?

I like this even better, no offense to Otiz but c'mon....Chuck has unquestioningly ko'ed him both times! Tito should be fighting someone new....give him Bonnar, Hammil, or even Thiago Silva. Rich vs Chuck spell fireworks and $$$! Plus good point on Toney getting Couture....that would be awesome!

What happened to Tito??? Anyone know?
If Tito can still fight, I would like to see him fight Sosynzki, Thiago and or Jardine
I want Forrest to rematch Jardine
and Randy or Lil nog to fight Toney

Damn that would have been sick if they then matched up a couture-tito rematch on the main card of that fight, would have the been the most exciting card all IMO if they had Chuck-Franklin(which is a bigger win for Chuck if he did IMO) with Wandy-Akiyama, Cro Cop/Berry & Yvel/Rothwell. Then add Tito/Couture 2(which makes more sense IMO then a 3rd liddell fight) and that's a HUGE card that sells close to a million haha maybe. and even Lesnar-(winner of mir/carwin) will be ready for 115 or 116, but 116 will be HUGE if it's Lesnar-Mir in july again, omg.
No matter what I am so pumped for MMA these next few months, with all the stress in life no matter what brings ya down you got badass fights to watch hahahahahaha

He also says on his twitter that they are doing Franklin/Couture. I think they've got it all mixed up to be honest. I'd rather see Chuck vs Rich and Tito vs Randy
