"I chose Bellator for a number of reasons. They offered me the best contract, I can get three fights done in three months, and on top of that I really think that they will do a good job of promoting me. I feel good about facing (Ryan) Thomas. I hear that he’s a good wrestler, and if that’s his strongest suit, obviously he’s not going to beat me there. I also hear that submissions are strong for him, but he’s not going to beat me there either. So for me this is a really good match-up."

I am excited for Bellator. They seem to be doing everything right, and good young fighters can get good paydays there if they win.

That dude is the future grappler, I think he'll win it all, I think he would win abu dhabi if he wanted to.

He didn't win the Olympics at what he does best so I doubt he'll win the top competition for something he's relatively new at. I do believe that he'll be a superstar in MMA.

i dont think hell last. dont get me wrong his wrestling is fantastic and of course thats a big asset and i know how good guys like koscheck and lesnar are amazing. but when you look at guys like jake rosholt who may be a really good wrestler he isnt a very good natural athlete and he struggles with a lot of guys. askren doesnt look like the best athletic specimen so im gonna doubt his future success

So when Pablo Swept and kneebared Ben inside a minute at the 2009 abu dhabi , that was because he didn't want to win?

WHAT?!

Jake Rosholt's natural athleticism is his strong suit. The dude can jump out of a pool 4 ft deep backwards. If that doesnt say something about explosive lower body strength than i cant even fathom what you mean by athlete.

..Askren isnt athletic?

im basically speaking of his body type. he just doesnt look like a great athlete. and another thing about rosholt, the guy taps instantly if he gets caught in any type of submission
