Despite a near-apocalypse (a few big no-shows among other things) the event still went on last night. Results:
Amanda Nunes beat Ediane Gomes by TKO (strikes) at 3:00 of round 2.
Cesar Ferreira beat Felipe Arinelli by technical submission (arm triangle) at 55 seconds of round 2.
Francisco Drinaldo beat Luiz Firmino by submission (kneebar) at 5:00 of round 1.
Leandro Silva beat Gustavo Sampaio by unanimous decision.
Yuri Villefort beat Julio Cesar Merendaby unanimous decision.
Cristiano Marcello beat Emiliano Vatt by submission (armbar) at 1:05 of round 1.
Danillo Villefort beat Cassiano Tytschyo by KO in 56 seconds.
Glover Teixeira beat Joaquim Ferreira by TKO (corner stoppage-towel) at 1:30 of round 2.
Main Event: Thales Leites beat Rico Washington by submission (arm triangle) at 2:40 of round 1.
A fight between Fabio Maldonado and Guto Inocente was a last-minute scratch due to a Maldonado hand injury.
Paulo Filho no-showed. Claimed personal issues. He was to have faced Yuki Sasaki, who refused a proposed replacement (Daniel Acacio) for the fight.
Jeff Monson no-showed. Didn't notify parole officer of the trip to Brazil and would've faced arrest had he gone.
Leites was originally a replacement for Filho, the Washington fight came via last-minute card shuffling. Washington did get in a sucker punch after the glove touch at the start of the fight.
