Seems a little early, the PPV dont start for anoth 8 hrs and there is only 4 prelims, so surely that will start 2 hrs 30 mins before at the earliest, so thats 5 hrs 30 mins before the event, plus still quite a few picks not made in my camp, very frustrating.

I just made a comment on that other thread, but I agree. I usually finalize my picks on Saturday afternoon. 109 closed early also, but in the past they would be open until around 4MT.

Honestly there is a countdown clock, its not difficult to make your picks. Its not like it was a set time then they closed it before said time.

And if they opened the picks back up. What about the people who missed the few picks, saw it was locked and went about their day only to find out later it was opened back up. You cant have it both ways. suck it up

Its really handy to have an iphone, I can check my picks daily and stay up to date on fight card changes. But if you are trying to be competitive on this site then you should at least finalize the night before.

disagree, appart from today the only other time i missed picks was i the first or 2nd event after i signed up. I'm always very competitive on this site, and just find that im more in the mood for making the picks and last minutes changes the same day of the event, just feels right.

Same. I usually spend the week before the event doing a little homework for betting purposes. So I feel like I have the best feel for things right before the event and often don't bother making my picks until the night before the event. This time I waited until the day of then event, and burned myself + my camp. I won't making that mistake again.

But still.. locking it 5 hours before showtime? C'mon.

Yup exactly, its just pointless to lock shop up early, what the benefit? I can see an hour or something but this is stupid.

I just try to avoid missing any pick, I remember I did this a while back and missed a whole strikeforce card and missed out on a badge because of it. I'm just really cautious about this stuff, but it works for me and other people have their methods. Whatever works right.
