I guess I'll just look at the bright side and be glad Sarajevo is holding cards after the terror of the nineties.

A.O. is fighting "random fighter" at "random organization" instead of defending his SF belt. People suspect he is afraid of Fedor and using steroids. Etc....

If I were Coker I would be throwing a fit...
I dont think they will make an interim belt
in hopes overeem does come back...
i would report the belt stolen if i were them.lol

at "random organization"

Glory actually has a good presence within the Europe/kickboxing community.

Isn't this when Strikeforces CBS card is to be? Wonder why Al doesn't want to fight in the US anymore....

He's gonna hurt his name a lot more when he comes to the us and he beats a top guy and gets his shot at Fedor, then a day later tests positive and gets a year off.

People are overplaying Strikeforce's interest in having Overeem fighting immediately. If he wanted Overeem to fight in the next few months, the threats over stripping his title would have begun and Overeem would be forced to make a decision on fighting for Strikeforce.

Eventually Overeem will be slotted to fight somebody in the States and Coker will force his hand, but I do not think - right now - they mind his inactivity as much as fans do. They have Fedor, the cash cow, fighting opponents that may have a little more name value in the United States (Brett Rogers, former UFC heavyweight Fabricio Werdum, potentially Bobby Lashley) and less of a chance of defeating him than Overeem does and that will work for a while.

Now I have heard the pharse......" Anytime ...Anywhere!" but "Anyone(cans) ..Anywhere" is a bit different. I gave up on AO ever fighting in the US a while ago. Fedor will take the vacant title and run with it. Probably what Coker wants anyways.
