The 29-year-old grappler, whose full name is Braulio de Oliveira Estima, long considered a move into fighting but finally signed a contract with the upsart Shine Fights organization after reaching the top of the competitive grappling circuit.

Ooookay...but according to his cousin Renzo, he *was not* hurt.
And according to cousin Renzo Gracie, it really wasn't due to training, injuries, etc. but actually nerves. Fact is the nerves drained him of his energy. His stand up and ground work looked bad, nothing at all like he was doing in training leading up to the fight and it was if he couldn't hear what I was telling him. I think the pressure he put on himself overwhelmed him. He'll learn and be back." Rolles Gracie was TKO'd by Joey Beltran at UFC 109.

I suppose he still could have been hurt and that Renzo is saying that the injury had nothing to do with him losing. I guess it all depends on how much you read into it.
