And according to cousin Renzo Gracie, it really wasn't due to training, injuries, etc. but actually nerves. Fact is the nerves drained him of his energy. His stand up and ground work looked bad, nothing at all like he was doing in training leading up to the fight and it was if he couldn't hear what I was telling him. I think the pressure he put on himself overwhelmed him. He'll learn and be back." Rolles Gracie was TKO'd by Joey Beltran at UFC 109.

His performance was atrocious. If in fact it was nerves, I hope for his sake he can shake them off next time. Because if not....Bye Bye Rolles

That was sad, he fought a guy that took the fight on about a week notice.....imagine if he fought someone with a real training camp. That was embarrassing for the Gracie's to say the least, get him a conditioning program please.

To add to the embarrassment of his loss, the winner Beltran did not perform well either. I have to say that was one of the worst fights I've seen in long time... slack and sloppy (two words that should never be associated with mma fighting!).

I was pissed, I knew I should have picked Beltran. I questioned Gracie's ability. WTF.
