West Linn, Ore.'s Chael Sonnen (24-10-1 MMA, 4-3 UFC) played the perfect politician on Saturday night.
After dominating anointed contender Nate Marquardt at UFC 109 on Feb. 6, Sonnen talked up his donor and picked a fight with someone across the aisle.
"I hope Anderson (Silva) wins (at UFC 112) because I think Vitor (Belfort) is a lot tougher fighter," Sonnen said after UFC 109. "If I had to choose between the two, I'm going to take the low road and take the easier opponent to the championship."

I kind of think he's right. I believe Anderson is an easier win for him. With that being said I dont think that he can beat Anderson I just think style wise Vitor is a more dangerous opponent to Chael.

i really dont think he stands a chance with eitha vitor or anderson, they will both counter his takedowns and end up with a KO win!!
yes chael is a GOOD wrestler, but very 1 dimensional, he dominated nate, in a lay n pray fight, he will not b able 2 do that with neitha vitor or anderson!
he should concentrate less on trash talk and more on gettin back in the gym, coz he is gana need all the gym time he can get ready for eitha of these 2!

I don't care or mind what he thinks , others have said worse . It's not like Mir talking about wanting to end Lesner's career . Why is everybody so sensitive now days , he's got personality , great , now I got a reason to like or dislike him .

he dominated nate, in a lay n pray fight,
Please watch the fight with your eyes open this time .
I think Vitor would be a much easier fight for chael . I dont vitor would be able to stop chaels takedowns and he would mentally wilt from the pressure . It would look something along the lines of the Couture / Henderson / Ortiz / Sakuraba fights . Anderson is also much more dangerous off his back IMO .
