I want the possibility of cut stoppages and the ability to be able to work the cornermen like they do on EA's Fight Night boxing games.

I like the idea of more fighter-specific styles. The Sambo style will be lots of fun to use.

ill b buyin the EA game aswell, but this ufc 2010 looks like its ganna b awsome! better subs, cuts, new fight styles, hopefully bigger roster of fighters and mor realistic damage from head kicks, GnP, etc all makes 4 an excellent game!!

Looks to be shaping up to be a good game.
Though I'm reserving jugdement until I see what features we're going to see in EA"s MMA before I totaly give into this games hype.
One point I found interesting is that during one interview a developer for EA's MMA criticized Undisputed for not allowing players to grab the legs of their opponents after a foe throws a kick. Something they said would be in EA's MMA.
Well the trailer for the new Undisputed comes out and what's one the first things they showed?
You guessed it!
The guys at EA have been somewhat quiet on any other features EA's MMA will implement after that.
Though I fully agree with anyone who makes the point such features are a common upgrade and would have happened even without EA's MMA on the horizon.
I do find that a little funny though.
Chances are I will buy both.

you could catch kicks in 09 what are you talking about? you catch the kick and take him down its a reversal, push the RS down to grab a leg kick and up to grab a body/head kick

Soooo...did this part "The lack of an ability to fight southpaw (left-handed) was one of the more glaring examples" mean there will be south paws? If not, no way i'll consider renting it, let alone buying it.

yes, they've been working on it even before 09 came out, they wanted to put it into 09 but were having too many problems with it, you gotta give them a break at some point, they created an entire fighting system from scratch, its not going to be perfect first time around, and you can bet your ass THQ probly wanted to delay it again a few months to work out some of the bugs they did have but dana wanted it on the shelves

No. They don't need to be given a break. It is the job of the company to make a game, and if they are going to charge full price then the game should be as good as possible. They don't need a break, it is important to hold them responsible. The fans/players of video deserve to get their money's worth.
