Previously reported visa issues will prevent Mostapha Al Turk from fighting Rolles Gracie this Saturday at UFC 109, but it’s not yet clear who the newcomer Gracie will fight at the February 6 pay-per-view event in Las Vegas.
The Ultimate Fighter 10 castmember Jon Madsen has reportedly been tapped for the bout, according to Around the Octagon citing sources close to H.I.T. Squad, while manager Manny Rodriguez says Joey Beltran, who knocked out UFC veteran Houston Alexander earlier this month, will face Gracie...

Rolles wins vs any of the three anyways, it sucks not knowing who you're fighting though training wise, since all are different stile fighters.

It's not yet official, but if Al-Turk is off the replacement is going to be Beltran.

I'm not so sure about that, Madsen is a great wrestler who trains with Lesnar last I heard....it'd basically be a question of whether or not Gracie can sub him from the bottom because I doubt Madsen would ever be on the bottom in that fight.
I think Beltran is a better replacement being that he just TKO'd Houston who had a decent following in the UFC, and would help hype Gracie more (barring a Gracie win).

The fact that he's a Gracie should say it all, but anyway, he debuted in the IFL in 2007, didn't fight in 2008, then fought twice for Art Of War (China) in 2009. He won all 3 by first-round submission, only one fight went longer than 109 seconds.

Can Gracie take a punch & does he have good takedowns? That's all I wondering. Like with Damein Maia, its all good until you get punched in the face. I'm not trying to hate, I just want to make my pick not just on the lone fact his last name is Gracie and hes good at BJJ because Beltran has some power and the fight starts on the feet, thats all im saying.
