That's the boasting of Martijn De Jong, MMA coach for Alistair Overeem, throwing down the gauntlet when it comes to his fighter ever taking on Fedor Emelianenko. De Jong feels Fedor's striking is nowhere near the level of Overeem's and that Overeem is looking forward to fighting Fedor. If it ever happens, of course.

Seriously Overeem.Fedor doesnt need to strike as good as you to beat you.
Not to mention fedor has had success in the past against awesome strikers..does CroCop ring a bell?? AA maybe?? or how about Schilt??
2 of the fighters mentioned above are former K-1 champs.
cant wait to see fedor take overeems belt

They probably would kick the s($t of Fedor.
But as we know from past fights,it doesn't matter if you knock the s**t out of Fedor or whether you shoot from the comforts of an armored tank. He's just going to beat you regardless.

I like how all these fighters want a shot at him, in hopes to fluke off the win and try to be the true 1st person to beat him. It is a good thing Fedor doesn't get upset at all the hype and talk of all these supposed fighters who supposedly can beat him. Again Brett Rogers says he wants another shot. I guess its like winning the lottery the more times you try the greater the chances of winning.
I just enjoy the excitement when he beats them. I enjoy every Fedor fight more than any other in the MMA world.

Fedor would hit Overeem 5 times before Overeem fully extended his Jab Sure he's got roid power, but he moves like Andre the Giant fighting Wesley from The princess Bride

I'm pretty sure Cro Cop never won a K-1 World Grand Prix.

Thats not a very good argument to bring up considering Overeem didnt exactly kick the S**t out of K-1 either. Win/Loss - Badr Win- Aerts (who, IMO, isnt what he used to be) Loss - Remy (just a list of the big names he faced in k-1 recently)
And his ground game may be great but I wont believe it until I see it Considering the fact that he has only been submitting guys with horrible ground skills, and has failed in the past against guys with great ground skills...
I say scrap Werdum vs Fedor and lets just settle this sooner rather then later...
