Hippo vs Cougar
Moose vs Gorilla
Black Bear vs Rhino
Polar Bear vs Lion
Again, voting will last for 3 days I will tally the votes on Wednesday if I remember. And then post the semis after

lol yea but i had to make a couple mismatches to make the most exciting semis/final possible.
I see what you did, and it is a sweet Grand Prix- makes me think about some cool battles- but the larger animals are so far outside of the other animals' class(es).... Still, very cool though.
I'm wondering, why did the elephant get left out of the competition?

I actually thought long and hard about putting the elephant in but he's just too big. I couldnt see a grizzly taking down a bull elephant so I didn't really give anything else other than maybe the rhino a chance. So I went with the Moose instead, plus a moose is a Canadian animal  so I had to put him in.
By the way feel free throw in your favourite match or which would be the most exciting matchup in each GP.

You could see a Grizzly taking down a Rhino or a Hippo?
I think I picked the Grizzly over the Hippo but TBH I was just being biased when I did that. I don't think the grizzly would stand a chance against either of those giant land-mammals.

Hippo vs Cougar- the hippo eats the cougar whole with one bite
Moose vs Gorilla- FIGHT OF THE YEAR, the mooses rushes the gorilla but the gorilla BJJ is top notch,he dodges the charge and jumps on the mooses back, the gorilla uses his better ground game to take the mose down submit him via armbar
Black Bear vs Rhino- black bear puts up a decent fight dodging the charging rhino but runs of of gas and gets mauled late 2 rd
Polar Bear vs Lion- polar bear keeps the lion at a distant with constants jabs before landing the KO shot early in the 3rd
wouldve liked to see black bear vs polar bear

Hippo dominates the cougar via KO (/eaten whole) easily IMO
Moose vs. Gorilla is a good matchup. The Moose's sheer size will intimidate the Gorilla for sure, but the Gorilla's side to side dexterity and use of fingers may prove deadly to the Moose. If the Moose can trample the Gorilla I'd go with a quick stoppage but as it goes later into the fight I think it favors the Gorilla more. I'm going to go with an SD favoring the Gorilla after it weathers the early storm.
Rhino dominates the puny Black Bear via GnP stoppage 1st rd
Polar Bear vs. Lion may be FOTY IMO. Both armed with claws and teeth, but the Polar bear has the clear height and size advantage. However, if the Lion can get him down he may be able to wear him out with vicious GnP (/claw gut rakes) for the stoppage via TKO (cut) Gotta say it's going to be a vicious battle but I think the power of the Polar Bear may be too much for the Lion. This will look something like Antoni Hardonk vs. Pat Barry except this time Pat Barry (the Lion) probably won't make the comeback this time around

im going out on a limb here and says the cougars speed and agility will work well against the hippo and wins via ripping the hippos jugular out
gorilla smashes the moose with a double hammer fist
rhino wins via tough hide and turning the ring into a blood bath when he stabs the bear in the gullet with his horn
polar bear wins via bbitch smack removing half the lions face
