I have to see the fight back of course, but [I kept] moving and my defense was high if I'm correct. She won it. She's the champion. Again, I have to see the fight back because I don't remember anything when I'm fighting -- it's all flashes."

in no way was that an early stoppage she was taking some brutal shots she may have been moving but everywhere she went she met another punch in the mouth she hung in there like a champ but it was time to stop that fight

I haven't seen it since watching it live, but I remember thinking she was covering up very well and intelligently defending.
Regardless though, it wasn't like it was a 50/50 match before the stoppage so I'll err on the side of the ref.

She did a lot better than I thought she would, but at the end of the day Cyborg was just way too strong for her, like she is against most girls she has fought at 145 lbs. The stoppage might have been a little premature, but Coenen should be happy b/c the same thing would have likely happened the rest of the fight and her face would have looked even worse.

Marloes really proved she could han g in there and has a lot of talent. id like to see her against Girl Fight Monster or even Gina, possibly a rematch sometime down the line with Cyborg.
