A slugfest of potentially epic proportions has been tapped for the UFC's first trip to British Columbia, Canada, as Gilbert Yvel (36-14-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) is now expected to face Pat Barry (5-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) at UFC 115.Sources close to both camps indicated to MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that bout agreements have been signed for the matchup, which was first reported by the Las Vegas Sun.

Both guys are flat out awesome to watch. Can't wait for this one. I'll probably go with Yvel but alot can change b/tw now and June.

Well Yvel will have the size but Barry probably the stamina. I've got to go with Yvel though, dont want to see him get the boot from the UFC.

i think pat barry will knock him ou pretty quick. Barry is just so quick with his strikes which should be the determining factor against a slowing yvel.

I would guess that Yvel still has the advantage on the ground though...he's been training in JJ a lot longer than Barry has.
