A slugfest of potentially epic proportions has been tapped for the UFC's first trip to British Columbia, Canada, as Gilbert Yvel (36-14-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) is now expected to face Pat Barry (5-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) at UFC 115.Sources close to both camps indicated to MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that bout agreements have been signed for the matchup, which was first reported by the Las Vegas Sun.

Edit note/reason: forgot a word, that without it would sound like a different statement

This fight has KOTN writen all over it, I hope Yvel comes in and takes Barry's head off.

Well Yvel will have the size but Barry probably the stamina. I've got to go with Yvel though, dont want to see him get the boot from the UFC.

i think pat barry will knock him ou pretty quick. Barry is just so quick with his strikes which should be the determining factor against a slowing yvel.

Great fight. I'll be pulling for Barry, for sure.

Barry showed much improved ground game against Hardonk...maybe we'll see something unexpected in this one from him, as Yvel is not known for his ground game.

I would guess that Yvel still has the advantage on the ground though...he's been training in JJ a lot longer than Barry has.
