Any of my fellow Canadians planning on going to MTL on May 1st to see UFC 113 may not want to make any travel/hotel/time off work plans just yet....

The wheels are turning today in boxing and it could have a significant effect on what the April or May schedule looks like in MMA. Rumors began swirling over the weekend that Floyd Mayweather may be targeting Shane Mosley for a fight on May 1 in Las Vegas

I know that what boxing does in terms of schedule does affect MMA, but from a personal view point I could care less.
I would gladly watch any UFC over a Mayweather fight.

But I fully realize i'm only one person.
Just my 2 cents.

Establishments still, for the most part, assume people want to watch boxing more than UFC.

I imagine a lot of what they would lose in buys wouldn't be to households but instead Hooters/Casino's/Bar's/etc.

Just a guess though.

Dana needs to get james toney on that card!! .

but seriously, I don't know if Mayweather fighting someone other than Manny Pacquiao will be to big a threat to the UFC PPV Buyrate.
