Kendall Grove's mystery opponent at the as-yet-unannounced UFC 112 event could be "The Filipino Wrecking Machine." Mark Munoz reportedly is under "intense consideration" to be the opponent for Grove in Abu Dhabi. It is unknown whether bout agreements have been distributed, but at least one fighter has verbally agreed to the contest. However, Munoz first needs to be cleared by an orthopedic doctor for injuries suffered during his UFC 108 bout earlier this month before getting the green-light to begin camp (he is under medical suspension until July 2 unless cleared early).

I think Grove could win this fight with that reach and kicks to keep Munoz at distance. Also I think Grove might have improved his TD defense and Munoz could maybe get sloppy with a shot and get caught with a sub.

Or Munoz could get the TD's and maybe win a decision. Tough fight to pick.

Grove would have to catch Munoz like he did Rosholt and I don't see it happening. Munoz fought a tall ass dude in the WEC and blasted him out on the ground and I think he'll do it again.

I would normally pick Grove but now that I found out Munoz is training with Nog and Silva he's improving everyday. I still think Grove has the advantage on the feet and could possibly submit Munoz since he almost caught Almeida in an arm bar whose light years ahead of Munoz on the ground. I'm still going with Kendall Grove.
