Incoming!! Two of the sport’s most devastating knockout artists are preparing to go to war in Miami.
FiveOuncesofPain.com has recently been able to comfirm through sources close to the situation that a middleweight slugfest between Melvin Manhoef and Robbie Lawler is currently on the table, and is expected to take place on the “Strikeforce: Miami” card set for January 30 from, you guessed it, Miami, Florida.
While nothing has been signed as of this writing, FiveOuncesofPain.com was able to confirm that the bout has been offered, and is expected to be signed by at least one of the fighters shortly.

Unless Robbie gets this to the ground immediately, I think Manhoef knocks his block off midway through the 1st round.

Melvin isnt a sure thing here he's been caught before. Without the threat of a takedown Melvin's really going to open up on Lawler and probably take his head off early in the fight. However Lawler probably only needs one strike as well, I have to go with Melvin though.

This is going to be an awesome KO for Manhoef and its going to be good for his north american exposure as well.
Strikeforce is really putting some very nice fight together, its awesome to be looking forward to more and more quality events.
