Going 3-0 in the UFC definitely helps your job security, and that helped John "Doomsday" Howard ink his new 4-fight deal with the promotion that will keep him there for the foreseeable future.

Personally I think Howard has just been a real lucky guy. He's had two split decision wins to Chris Wilson and Tamdan McRory...two fights I (along w/ Sherdog and MMAWeekly) scored for his opponents. Then he get sbeat up by Hallman for three rounds but then KO's him with 5 seconds left.
I mean, the man is definetly talented, and deserves to be in the UFC...I just thinks he's lucky.

Really mad about Hallman losing that fight at the end, dominated the whole fight then gets stood up and gets finished.
But maybe now I might have to start picking howard because I've picked against him all 3 times and lost.

Yeah, same. I don't mean to fighter bash or anything, I just think Howard is going to be exposed as he moves up in competition. I haven't been impressed with any of his performances in the UFC, and I keep thinking of a comment Rumble made a while back that Howard has ducked fights in the past. It may be baseless, it may be a "he said/she said" thing, but overall he hasn't had the best impression on me as a fighter.
It's entirely possible Howard will improve and dominate in the future. If that happens, I'll happily respect his efforts. Until that time I will remain skeptical.
