Well the reasons for UFC 72 to be in Belfast are there, but you can bet the security forces will be in place too. Lots of Northern Irlanders drinking and watching combat is a recipe for a rough night if you’re on duty. But it’s not likely to be anything they haven’t seen at a football match.
In any case the rumored date is June 16 with the possible return of the popular Brandon Vera, who’s been under the radar for some time while contract and managerial details were settled.

I hope all non-United States UFC pay-per views are on Spike TV, would be great cross promoting and give some United States PPV's free in other countrys so that the popularity grows and grows worldwide.

A little birdy told me that Rich Franklin is going to be on the card for UFC 72. Don't know who he will be fighting or who is else is going to be on the card, but if I hear anything else before the official announcement I'll post it here.

Guys i live about 50 miles (an hours drive) from belfast. This is crazy. Its probably gonna be in the oddysey arena.
Me and my mates were gonna go to manchester england to see it, but we couldnt afford it at the time. I thought it woud be in Dublin but who am i to know!Im shiting my pants right now. Big Tim Sylvia would be proud!
