so it looks like it will happen (especially since Lyoto is gonna fight Shogun at 111 and imo Rashad is definetly not in title contention after one win), what are the predictions if this fight happens?

Rashad fought like he used to. Used wrestling to hold down Silva. Didnt show any stand-up. Thiago had him badly hurt in the 3rd. If Rashad wrestles Rampage he'll win. If he stands toe to toe with Rampage he'll fall hard...

granted Rashad is a great wrestler but i dont think hes gonana takedown and control Rampage like he did Thiago Silva...and if Thiago Silva rocked Rashad I cant even imaigne what Rampage would do to Rashad standing up

Rampage all day. Rampage has some wrestling in him unlike thiago which enabled the takedowns. If Rashad cant take Rampage down then he is going to be forced to stand up and eat one of Rampages singature hooks and that will be it. Very simular to Wandy he will be finished with some uncalled for shots and i will be milking it.

completely. rampage has way more power in his strikes than rashad, and a better chin (before it takes 30 knees, then its pretty weak), i think rampage would prolly catch him comin in with an uppercut, or obviously his hooks, either way i see rashad goin down and rampage bein on a one way street to a rematch with shogun

Rampage should win this fight. The only way I can see him losing is because Rashad has been training and fighting while Rampage has been filming a movie. When Rampage had 10 months off before he faught Forrest he was rusty and lost.

wrestler vs boxer. rashad has a good chance of winning if he gets it to the ground and pounds him out, but if it stays on the feet(which i think it will) rampage will probably KO him or ref. stoppage. just my thoughts

and rashads hands arent that bad at all anymore either, basically this is speed vs power with 2 guys with similar skill sets.
ill take page, but i wouldnt have to pick up my jaw if rashad won.

Yea i kind of remember rampage rag dolling a few people in pride. He was all state in High School and then wrestled at a JuCo. Rashad has overrated striking just because he knocked out a punch drunk Chuck doesn't mean hes a good striker

Rampage has underrated wrestling and will knock him out. I like Stanky Legs as Rashad's new nickname.

I've gone back in forth on this. Rampage has the boxing edge and he covers up well, however he's going to have a hard time chasing Rashad down. If Rashad tries to wrestle Rampage it's likely going to be a Rampage knockout. If Rashad stays outside I can see him frustrating Rampage and taking a decision or finding an opening. This fight is going to depend on Rashad's game plan. Rampage has problems as well, nobody knows what kind of shape he is in. I still can't help but think that Rashad will dance his way to a decision, but I'm going to go with Rampage 1st round TKO.

Rashad should eek out a decision here, unless of course Rashad gets caught, which is entirely possible. I don't think Rampage will be able to stop Rashad's takedowns (who is way faster than Dan Henderson with his shot), and Rampage's take down defense just isn't on par with Rashad's wrestling ability, let's be realistic here. Rashad rides out a win in this fight, if he's smart. Otherwise the alternative is a boxing match which Rampage wins all day.
