link A new series that features some of the top matchups from the now-defunct PRIDE Fighting Championships organization debuts Jan. 15 on Spike TV.
"Best of PRIDE," which features the video library the UFC's parent company acquired after its purchase of the organization in 2007, airs each Friday at 10 p.m. ET/PT with replays throughout the week.
Maxim model Kenda Perez hosts the program.

Oh man! I'm way excited for this. I wasn't really a fan of MMA in the PRIDE days, so there are a lot of fights that I've only seen highlights of. This will give me a chance to catch up on some history. What a perfect way to finish out my Friday's after a couple hours on the mat!

I can not wait for this, even though i have seen so much PRIDE, I still am so glad the casual fan will get to see what it's greatness was like.

This will be great for fans that haven't got to watch much of PRIDE or who don't own many PRIDE dvds.
But I greatly hope they don't rehash the terribly edited PRIDE fights that were shown on FSN. I hope the versions they show are straight from the DVD's. Some of the FSN stuff was just not acceptable.
And I wonder if any of Fedors fights will be shown? Highly doubtful I would assume but it would be a shame if his bouts with Big Nog or his fight with Randleman never got aired.

Anyone know if SPIKE is going to edit out the most violent parts of the fights like FSN always did ? Let's hope not.

What do you want to bet there won't be a single Fedor fight in the "best of".

Most likely their won't be.
Of course their are tons of great PRIDE fights outside of ever having to show a Fedor bout, but it would still be ignoring one of the biggest parts of PRIDE history.
Anyhow, here's hoping they do a special with nothing but Saku!
