It appears Steve Steinbeiss is the recent curse's latest victim, as he has apparently been forced off UFC Fight Night 20 in January due to injury. Replacing him in his fight against Nick Catone is former TUF 3 alum Jesse Forbes, who signed a new deal with UFC and likely will be the replacement. Forbes originally signed with Shine Fights in November but was let out of that deal after explaining interest in the UFC deal.

People always talk about how good he is in training, he trains at ACS w/ a lot of good fighters, and he's still young so he has a lot of time to grow and improve.

I noticed recently how he's been doing just by checking out his Sherdog stats....he's gone 10-2 since his last UFC appearance and has finished his last 4 opponents....not to shabby! His 2 losses were to game opponents too, being Bryan Baker and Ryan Jimmo. This is a good re-tread prospect who has done it right by earning his way back into the UFC the old way, by racking up wins!
