"You get 10 (expletive) hardcores on the Internet going, 'Oh, this card (stinks), there’s no this, there’s no that.' Then guess what: Don’t (expletive) buy the card! It’s usually the ones that they’re bitching about that end up being some of the best. What happened with the last card is people were (complaining) because the Rashad Evans-Rampage fight wasn’t happening. Look at what happened. This is my philosophy on this, if you’re a (expletive) fight fan, we’re going to put on good fights for you."

It's true. Seems like the weak cards on paper turn out the best fights most of the time. It's not Dana's fault that fighters are getting injured and forced to withdraw from fights. There are still some great match ups that I'm looking forward too.
JDS and Yvel could be a contender for kotn and I'm looking forward to seeing McLovin back in action.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in the playground is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no props, and may the mods have mercy on your soul.

I keep telling people it's going to be a great night of fights. I bet it will be one of the most exciting UFCs in a while. The people complaining obviously don't know Jack about MMA.

I agree with him. Even though the card might be lacking star power for the casual fan, people who know fights will see that there are a lot of interesting match ups. Rashad Evans vs Thiago Silva is a clash of two well rounded contenders with knock out power, its almost a guarantee that it won't go to a decision. McLovin vs Semtex is a very interesting stylistic match up and the winner could be put into contention. Yvel vs Dos Santos could turn into a very explosive and technical striking match that will have real future title implications.
In my opinion the undercard is a little lacking but that doesn't mean we won't end up with a great night of fights overall.

I won't, I'll watch this on the net. I'm not going to buy cards with the anticipation the bad card will have good fights on it, I mean it's still $60.

UFC is trying to expand to a schedule that outstrips the amount of fighters currently available on their roster, especially in star power, but even the worst UFC card - in terms of sheer talent - trumps the best cards 95% of MMA promotions could possibly put on. As a hardcore fan, there's always something interesting going on with a UFC card, so I have to find a way to see them.

I agree. I don't think it's a bad card by any means, but it's the type of card that people like to complain about...namely the main event. Sure, the main event lacks a little star power, but notoriety isn't the only factor that compels me to watch an event. Other than that, I can't think of anything to complain about. There's a little of everything...some potential stand up wars, some style vs style matchups, and some very good top level talent.

not saying this is a bad card or anything.but seriously guys we've all complained about the UFCs choice of fights on their cards.
to say you agree 100% with dana is like saying youve never been disappointed in spending that much money on a UFC PPV
i personally dont buy UFC events that often.but everytime i have the cards seriously were not that good. (this has happened i think 3 times)
i have a reliable stream (atleast i think so) so everything is all good

I disagree. I've been disappointed NUMEROUS times after the fact. That's a whole different story.
I don't see how can you *not* agree with him. Personally, If I don't like something, I don't buy it. Period. If someone is going to bitch and moan about the quality of the fights, it's their prerogative to NOT purchase the card. No one is forcing anyone to spend the $45.

People are only complaining because the year end/beginning show is historically one of the biggest of the year, and this unlucky card is definitely not that.
It's gone through a million changes, each one making the card less special (with the possible exception of Yvel).
It's not Dana's fault, but you really ought to have a bit of gold on the line for this one. Nothing's even been announced as a number one contender's match.
