A recently rumored contest between Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Gegard Mousasi (27-2-1) and UFC and PRIDE veteran Gary Goodridge (23-19-1) is apparently on.While DREAM, World Victory Road and K-1 officials have yet to make an official announcement, MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) today spoke with Mousasi's manager and M-1 Global executive Apy Echteld who confirmed "The Dreamcatcher" is currently en route to Japan for the matchup.Goodridge was not immediately available for comment.

OMG lets see Hendo drop his butt or lets see Jacare tear him up because that last fight was once in a lifetime. Jacare I think takes him 9 times out of 10.

Because Gary Closed his Gym here in Barrie and is probably looking for a quick payday. Tank Abbott style, Hopefully he'll be fighting to win, and not for the check. it would be unfair to the fans.

agreed, im fine with this because of the depth of the card, and lets face it gegard shouldnt get hurt here or have to work too hard so he should be available to fight whenever they need him next in SF.

This really isn't much of a fight. I would think they could find someone better but there really isn't many top guys out there to chose from that would be ready for him to fight.
