Jones was featured on The Ultimate Fighter season 10 and quickly became a fan favorite and also one of the favorites to win the show. He was the only fighter on Team Rampage to earn a spot in the quarter-finals after defeating UFC veteran Mike Wessel. After destroying Darrill Schoonover in the “Big Baby” was knocked out by Brendan Schaub.Despite the loss Jones was invited to fight at The TUF 10 Finale against Matt Mitrione. Mitrione caught Jones with a big right and Jones suffered his second straight KO loss.

He was to old and his stand up wasn't improving fast enough. Great guy but this is probably for the best

I had a feeling this was going to happen. He said some things that gave me the impression that his heart wasn't totally in it. And he was attempting to start his career at an old age. He probably figured after the Mitrione KO that he just wouldn't be able to make it at the highest level.

Jones was weak minded. hes the type of fighter to say he's quiting fighting everytime he loses. fedor has one loss and he didnt quit. besides, jones is like 35 or 36 yrs old. he doesnt have much left in him anyway. started to late in the game. only randy and hendo can pull some sh*t like fighting into their forties (hendo isnt forty but we all know he aint retiring anytime soon)

Fedors one loss didn't come @ the start of his career or at age 35/36 as you stated. Despite what you may think about being "weak minded" getting beat @ that age, is going to make you second guess things. He doesn't have a 20 year career behind him that are decorated beyond belief like most of these others fighters.
Now like I said about being decorated, you just named randy and hendo, both who started wrestling, at what 4? Both which are decorated until the cows come home. They have been doing it forever, and that helps. Marcus is an athlete yes, but doing MMA or any part of MMA competitive like Randy and Hendo not quite... So I understand what he is doing, and I do not believe its being "weak minded".

It's weird because everyone in the house was always talking about how Metrione was going to snap, but after the whole "picture" incident I started thinking it was Big Baby who was a bit unstable. His whole outburst on Matt didn't help the looks of it either.
Jones has a great ground game but his standup comes from the stone age. He needs to find a great boxing coach and learn how to use his RANGE. Opposed to just standing their, stiff like a board.

Too bad he didn't pursue mma instead of football. Guy could have been a beast if he started out in his twenties. Got to give him props for getting as far as he did with minimal training and having the heart to try and make it in mma.

At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in the playground is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no props, and may the mods have mercy on your soul.

Probably a smart idea. I think some people still have the ability to learn many new techniques way past their thirties, but between the show and the finale, Marcus hadn't improved his striking at all. Strangely, he seemed to have picked up jiu jitsu very well, especially for such a tall guy.
