Jon Jones' appeal to the Nevada State Athletic Commission to overturn referee Steve Mazagatti's decision in his bout against Matt Hamill earlier this month has been denied. The NSAC stated that they don't overturn decisions and decided against ruling on the appeal.

Good and bad. Giving in to Jones' camp would have sent a bad message about breaking rules. The last thing that happened in the fight were his illegal blows. I've said it before, Jones will be fine. He lost and proved his legitimacy in the same fight.

Jon Jones is nasty. He's gonna be a scary dude for a while if he's got a good camp.
