Karo Parisyan got out of a cab at the Las Vegas airport, and his father's voice on the other end of his cell phone was finally too much to bear.

It hadn't been long since Parisyan told his manager to inform the UFC brass that he was pulling out of his scheduled UFC 106 bout with Dustin Hazelett last month. A series of suffocating personal issues, Parisyan said, led to the decision, the most difficult he said he has ever made.

He had hundreds of texts and phone messages pleading with him to answer the question: Why?

I really hope Karo can come back somewhere. I'd love for it to be the UFC, but I just want him to come back somewhere. Whatever his problems are I hope he can get through them, and continue to fight. He was such an unbelievable talent, and such a joy to watch in the sport that I'd hate to see it all end on such a sour note. I hope you can make it back Karo.

Yeah only if he shows up! I think he needs to get his mind right before he agrees to enter the cage for anyone.

Karo in SF would be good for the lack of WWs there too. I think he needs to finish at least 3 fights for me to be excited about seeing him again though.

I like his chances of mounting a comeback...as compared to Junie or Warmachine.

Absolutely. Karo has proven to be world class when his mind is right. I'd love to see him in Strikeforce throwing people all over the cage.

If Karo could get his mind right and joined StrikeForce he could be hands down their best 170er. But Karo has issues that need to be worked out long before he ever thinks about fighting again.
