Franklin was busy fighting superfights, and Marquart was busy fighting cans.

I wouldnt refer to Marquardts opponents as "cans". Marquardt would beat Franklin if they were to fight.

i wouldnt count rich out, all he gets are tough opponents, hes headlined a number of cards so he would come in confident, and hes still a top contender in any weight class the ufc will let him stick around in. his losses are only to top guys, hes no can yet, he just never gets fed cans himself.

WHAT!!! how the hell does franklin look like a can, who has he lost to, vitor, hendo(arguable), and the spider, the guy takes no easy fights and shows up to all of them to fight, i dont know how any1 can say rich franklin is a can,

these are the times i really wish we had a negative prop button

This would be a split decision. On the ground its nates, but on the feet I think rich got better technique. I dont know I think it would be a very close fight that goes that distance. I'd stay with franklin for the fact I think it will stay on the feet longer

I gotta disagree, I believe Nate has much more powerful strikes and really I don't see rich being able to handle the power he brings.
