I don't think GSP would have any problem destroying BJ in front of his home crowd.

Why doesn't anybody see Swick fight him, why am I alone on this, Fitch is just going to try and give him the GSP treatment.

WOW... Will BJ ever give up on GSP.
Give him home field avantage, that don't matter GSP will still beat him yet again.
And BJ will have yet another excuse.

BTW... Didn't GSP make his corner call the fight for him last time, he wasn't even man enough to call it quits himself

What a dreamer!!

Why not have Penn vs GSP3 with GSP dropping down to 155 or a catch weight between 155 and 170.

GSP has been packing on weight lately. He's walking around above 200lbs.

There's no way he's getting to 155 without an amputation.

Personally I'd like to see GSP move to MW and work his way up the division like everyone else has to, and I'd like to see BJ do the same at 170.

penn needs to stop thinking because hes the best lightweight that he can jump to the top of ww whenever he wants besides gsp would just demolish him again

Maybe you missed hte point of the thread, he is saying that if you want to sell 40K tickets in Hawaii that you aren't going to do that w/ BJ vs. Maynard of Edgar.

Though I'd love to see both of those fights before BJ gets another crack at GSP, I don't think either of them are worthy or headliner enough to sell 40K tickets in Hawaii against BJ. GSP however, would.

I would love to see a BJ/GSP rematch in a year or so from now as long as BJ keeps dominating these LWs and making them look like amateurs.

no i got the point im saying bj doesnt deserve to jump to the top of ww and push every one there aside like last time its not fair to the people that fight at ww and want a chance at the belt for bj justt to say hey dana i want to fight gsp and get it who cares if it sells more he needs to fight other fighters at ww and work his way up like everyone else im a fan of bj but he just needs to leave gsp alone hes too damn big for him

something i havent heard anyone mention is wec. bj would probably run over all the guys there but ben henderson or jaime varner or something along those lines. these guys might not have a chance but exicting matchups imo. more exciting then watching diego again or a maynard fight.

the other day someone told me a real champion will face all contenders not just the top one or two but the 6th ranked guy may have a skill set the champs not used to.

Zuffa needs to stop worring about where they would sell the most tickets with whom. we need great fights to draw fans not just the best vs the best.
i watch WEC best of '09 and the fights wernt good they were most one sided 5 rnd wars or faber . two hours where 3 fights took up most of the time
alot of good competitors are loosing out to ratings wars.

I see what he's going for, he's trying to set history, first to hold two UFC belts simultaneously

He only wants to be known as the best ever, is that so much to ask?

I have no problem with GSP vs BJ III if BJ beats 2-3 contenders at 170 first. Last time he was given an immediate shot at GSP and he lost-- Now I feel that if BJ gives up the LW belt and moves to WW for a few fights he can earn a shot at the WW title like any other WW.
