“At minimum, Mr. Hamill should have had (an) opportunity to clearly understand what was being asked of him and given the ability to respond,” the letter states. “If allowed this basic right, we believe, based on Mr. Hamill’s own admission, that his shoulder injury would have precluded him from continuing, not the perceived foul.”Ciatoli and Marino said the vision-blurring cuts were caused by 23 legal elbows that Jones landed from the mount position, not the illegal blows. The complaint asks the NSAC to schedule a hearing on the matter in the event that the decision is not changed.

*this should be turned over to a NC..as they state in the letter everything is true..the shoulder woulda been the cause of Hamill ability to not continue to fight..and illegal blows would of meant that Mario should of give Hamill time to recover..point in being Mario F'd up again..don't think this guy is gonna be with the UFC much longer..later Mario...

You should know by know that the UFC don't pick the ref's and Steve isn't the worst ref.

yeah i know UFC doesn't have control over the refs and judges..but there gotta come a point where some refs and judges can't do it anymore..one mistake is ok..but repeatin it more than most refs..there's gotta be a point where NSAC won't let him ref for the UFC..and my bad bout his name Steve not Mario..lol..p.s. i haven't seen Herb Dean in awhile..NSAC should be usin him more than Dan and Steve..any word on Herb...

Herb Dean has been reffing matches. I believe as recently as the TUF finale.

hmm i guess i didn't catch that..if he did ref bj and sanchez fight..i must of been blind from the beer and shots..LOL..i was pretty wasted by the time they fought..and haven't got around to watchin it again..i always rematch matches just to make sure i saw what i saw..not the blurry alcohol vision..but yeah i do feel Herb and Big John are two of the best refs in the sport..hand down...

I never had a problem with Mazz until this fight. He messed up bad and I think Jon Jones and his camp are completely right. DQ made no sense in that situation
