The Tennessee Athletic Commission has announced the medical suspensions from UFC 107. 18 fighters in all got suspensions, but most were in the range of 3-45 days. Only Clay Guida and Matt Wiman got 60+ day suspensions unless they are medically cleared ahead of time.

3 day suspensions

The Guida 180 day is surprising. Hope that is okay.

They must have missed Stefan Struve or something. I'd find it hard to believe he came out of that war with Buentello with no suspension. Buentello landed some heavy shots at a couple points.

Seems like a smart precautionary thing to me. Fighters may not have suffered concussions or anything, but taking blows that don't KO you can still mean you're taking blows that bruise and swell the brain a little bit. I'm all for a 3 day suspension. It will allow any swelling that might be there to go down and it's not like 3 days off is going to kill any of these guys or anything.

This is good though, because the guy fights very often. If he doesn't have to deal with an injury or suspension of any sort, he can be out there again soon.

Would love to see a match between him and Roy Nelson.

I actually think that matchup would favor Roy more than it would Struve. Roy looks to put people on their back, and Struve seems to be willing to go to his back at any moment. He's not going to be able to lay a triangle or arm bar on the likes of Roy Nelson. At least I wouldn't think so. Then again, I could be proven wrong.

Stefan must be the Terminator!
Especially if he had no suspensions.

The medical team probably didn't even believe BJ had been in a fight when they checked him out
