Strikeforce heavyweight contender Fabricio Werdum talks about a possible rematch with Andrei Arlovski in his next fight for the San Jose-based promotion in Spring 2010. "Vai Cavalo" went three rounds with "The Pitbull" back at UFC 70 in a widely-panned bout that Arlovski won via ugly slap-attack. Werdum is still hoping to face Fedor Emelianenko in the near future, but it sounds like Strikeforce might have other plans for "The Last Emperor." Perhaps a rude welcome for the returning Alistair Overeem?

Alistair will never fight in the US again...honestly. As for this fight, maybe it'll be better with Werdum's improved striking, but I doubt it. I can definetly understand them not wanting Fab vs Fedor though.

I don't know, if it's the same barn burner as last time I might have to skip my Ken Burns documentary on needle point. Riveting stuff really.

Man, that would be some crappy matchmaking considering the first fight is one no one wants to see again.

I think Andrei will destroy him in the first round this time, he has more to prove at this point in time, and this ain't Abu Dhabi.

arlovski will definetly win this one. Werdum has never REALLY impressed me. hes good but i think "pitbull" will hurt him. werdum's striking is IMPROVED.... arlovski's striking is very dangerous and has been for a long time.

AA should have this as long as he keeps his chin down. If he forgets to do that even Werdum should be able to KO him with a lucky overhand.

Awesome! Andrei will KO him and get back on moving up the HW ladder once again.

i think id have to go with arlovski here

but to be honest, neither of these guys are that relevant anymore

i mean, is werdum going to fight fedor? cuz i think brett rogers had a much better chance.

is this fight happens, i'll be cheering go arlovski as they go to the judges scorecards.

Did he tell you that personally or are you speculating and indirectly accusing him of using PEDs?
