As evidenced by the black electrical tape covering the RVCA symbol on BJ Penn's shirt at today's pre-fight press conference. RVCA was banned from the UFC in mid-November due to their sponsorship agreement with Fedor Emelianenko.

I love that BJ still wore the shirt. The UFC is getting out of hand. I will leave it at that.

though i doubt it can happen, while BJ holds the belt

I hope BJ walks away from the UFC again and challenges the Dream Lightweights. BJ vs Aoki, JZ, Hellboy, Crusher, Alvarez would all be great fights

Bj would beat all of them .they all seem a lot smaller to me and I think bj would give them problems there. And I wonder what shorts hell wear now

Honestly those fights are better than most of the fights he has left in the UFC.

Which would you rather have?

BJ vs. Maynard
BJ vs. Edgar

OR

BJ vs. Hellboy
BJ vs. Aoki

I'd probably rather see the second two to be completely honest.

While I agree with you all I definately don't want to see BJ in any org other than the UFC, UFC has HW, LHW, and WW on lock already and if they could sign about 6 guys they would pretty much have LW as well. I think S/F is taking MW and LW into a competitive position but the UFC still has them beat for now....FW is about 50% WEC and the other 50% is spread to about 3 orgs throughout the world. I'd personally be upset to see him not help the UFC reign supreme by inticing other badass LWs to sign with the UFC after all they have done for him.

I hope BJ still rocks his RVCA shorts. There are some intriguing match ups in Japan for him but he would crush Aoki and Hellboy. Don't sleep on Diego just yet, this is gonna be a great fight.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in the playground is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no props, and may the mods have mercy on your soul.

I do not think he would have better competition in Japan. It is probably more of the same with the UFC having a little higher ranking and more depth.

I would be interested in an Aoki fight if it was ground only, otherwise I think BJ would take him out on his feet.

BJ vs. Diego is way better than any other fight. So is Sherk, Maynard, Edgar, and Florian IMO.

I would like to see him fight Crusher, but that is because I like Crusher.

I believe if you brought the top five from the UFC and had them fight the top five from Japan, the UFC is probably going to win 15+ out of 25 fights.

BJ is not going to leave the UFC because they banned RVCA as a sponser.

All sponsors should be banned and UFC should just pay the fighters a little extra for wearing UFC attire.
They could even make their own line of jeans and pajamas so the fighters could wear them all the time.

It would be nice if he did though.

BJ has walked once before while holding the belt...

I dont really think there is better (or worse) comp waiting for BJ outside the UFC just Comp that we havent seen fight against any UFC contenders.

UFC needs to sign someone from dream or dream needs to pick up one of UFC's perennial contenders that way we can compare (more accurately) the entire LW Div.

But i do believe that B.J. would beat all dream contenders as well as SF contenders. ( No one at 155 can match B.J.'s skill set, some may be better in some areas but BJ has A+ everything)

I agree, I don't think anyone can beat BJ at 155 right now, but I would rather see him vs the people outside of the UFC after this one, I really don't want to see any of the match ups the UFC can put together. I'd really like to see him face Josh thompson and the boys in Dream.
