UFC 107 Prelims WILL NOT Air On Spike |

Sorry UFC fans, but no free rides when UFC 107 comes around. It was confirmed today that Spike would not air any live prelims before the UFC 107 PPV on December 12, breaking a stretch of such airing dating back to UFC 103 (excluding 105, which Spike aired on tape delay). The reason for no prelims this time is schedule conflicts-Spike already had its 2009 Video Game Awards scheduled for 8-10 PM ET on 12/12.

i'm pretty mad because i really wanted to see the Belcher Vs. Gouveia match up and it looks like Buentello Vs. Struve is going to get the nod over that on the PPV broadcast. hopefully it's one of the unaired prelims they show.

The prelims on Spike aren't permanent either. Despite fairly good ratings so far they're being considered on an event-by-event basis, so don't get too used to them yet.

am I the only one that hates seeing fights again on pay per view after i just watched them on spike?
I want the free fights but there were like 3 (i think) shown on the last one that i'd just watched on spike.

I want the free fights but there were like 3 (i think) shown on the last one that i'd just watched on spike.
I hated it at first, but since I watch the fights @ Buffalo Wild Wings, it gives me the opportunity to step out for a smoke break.
Also...you can hustle the Chads that show up only for the PPV.

next year the prelims on spike will be back,
but buentello vs struve over belcher vs goeveia is wrong
