Fresh off his knockout win over Marcus Davis at UFC 106, Ben Saunders would like to avenge the only loss on his record by getting a rematch with Mike Swick.
“I would love a rematch with Mike Swick,” Saunders told MMAWeekly.com content partner TapouT Radio. “If it was up to me, without a doubt Mike Swick would be my next fight. I would get that loss off my record.”
Saunders was defeated by Swick at UFC 99 in June by technical knockout, but the Floridian revealed he had injuries going into the fight and would like the opportunity to compete against American Kickboxing Academy trained Swick under different circumstances.

A fighter using a preexisting injury as an excuse? Never seen that before. The real news will be when someone doesn't blame a loss on preexisting injuries.

A rematch so soon. I would pass on making this happen and have them fight some other people and see if they are both contenders and then have them rematch.

I'd like to see Swick vs. Paul Taylor (if the UFC hasn't cut him yet)
and Saunders vs. Osipzcak
I think both would make for interesting matchups.

I think that after a win like that Saunders deserves to fight pretty much anyone he wants. But I'd like to see him fight another tough guy like blackburn or burkman or even Johnson

Burkman?? He hasn't fought for the UFC in over a year and is a mid level prospect at best. A win for Saunders over Burkman doesn't do much for him, it'd be a step down from Marcus Davis honestly.
