Love him or hate him, there is no doubt Josh Koscheck has proven himself inside of the Octagon. Coming off a win over the always dangerous Anthony Johnson at UFC 106 this past Saturday evening, Koscheck unleashed his emotions in a post fight rant, claiming he was the true #1 contender.

In the fallout from UFC 106 Kos has had numerous accusations thrown his way about the “illegal” knee strike to the face by Johnson.Even “Rumble” himself has gone on record to accuse Koscheck of using the time to recoup from being hurt during the first round.

Koscheck has recently made use of his Twitter account to comment on the situation, stating:

U haters can suck my d***! Haha love this Twitter sh*t talking. A faker never gets up and doesn’t fight after that a eye poker…

fight of the night was reasonable but i think kendal grove and george sotiropolis subs were more worthy of sub of the night.

This is why Kos has haters in the first place.

And for those of you insisting the knee had any affect on the fight, Kos says it didn't. He says "it was a poke on the ground". The best part is, now that he has cleared up that it wasn't the knee, what he was doing is obvious. The poke clearly hit his right eye, why was he holding and squinting his left?

I love it.

You would think the UFC would curb this kind of talk on twitter, it didn't do Larry Johnson any good.

It looked like it hit the left eye to me.

I'm not try to accuse Kos of anything. Maybe something happened to his left eye. But if you go back and watch it (I even put the slow motion replays into slow motion on my TV) the finger grazes his right eye.

Sorry guys, I was trying to repost an image from another thread. There is a still picture that shows what looks to be an Anthony Johnson thumb in Josh Koschecks eye. I believe it was just moments before the knee and the thumb would have been to the left eye.

It's an easy to call him a faker from your couch, especially if you were rooting for Anthony Johnson in the first place.

he was clearly poked in the left eye before the attempted knee. I'm not defending his stupid comments just giving facts. He was poked and he was babying the correct eye.

The poke "clearly" hit the left eye. You should go back and slow mo it a few more times. I promise you, just like everyone else is stating. It was the left eye.
