LAS VEGAS – With the 11th season of the UFC's reality series set to begin taping in just two months, one hopeful has already pleaded his case for a coaching slot. And he has an additional fighter in mind for the rival team.Soon after a close split-decision loss to Forrest Griffin in the main event of Saturday's UFC 106 event at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Tito Ortiz said he and Griffin should take the slots and then meet in a season-ending fight that would serve as the duo's rubber match."It'd be awesome," Ortiz said. "We'd break records with that one."Ortiz and Griffin first met in 2006. Ortiz picked up a split-decision win and delivered the "TUF 1" champion his first loss in the octagon. Three years later, with a UFC 106 headliner between heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar and challenger Shane Carwin scrapped and in need of a main event, UFC officials promoted the co-headliner between Ortiz and Griffin to the top spot.
They both seemed like good coaches, so its a good idea from that standpoint. Im not that interested in the third fight though. I think Forrest is clearly the better fighter overall at this point.
Great idea. I absolutely love this combination because both were great coaches so we won't be having the problem we are having this season. And both guys are characters so it would be a great season.
I dont think right now there is any reason for a 3rd fight. I think Tito should fight some people and get some wins before he deserves that shot.Plus the fight would just end the same unless Tito evolves all he has is his shot and ground and pound once that doesnt work for him he fades. So i would vote no for Tito and Forrest 3 so soon.
Tito don't have it anymore why are we even talking about this. Forrest doesn't have it anymore either. They look like they've been over training for a long time, they really looked slow, it's saddening.

Well they both had injuries as they claimed but Tito had 18 months of ring rust and Forrest just came back from the most devastating KO in MMA history (IMO). Give them both a little break...
I like the idea of these two coaching a lot better then GSP v Hardy...
It makes sense to me -both are injured and will have long layoffs -both of there fights ended in a very close manner splitting it 1-1, -both of there 2 fights there were words traded back and forth, plus a between round shoving fit -both are huge names with huge personalities, and good coaches -neither seemed really impressive last night -No desire for immediate rematch, so wont bother me to wait 8 months for coaches to fight (think about it if Rashaas/Rampage didnt coach we would have seen the fight, but TUF dragged out there fight to the point where rampage chose other options)
