It seems like it's a bad time to be a Brock in MMA. Not just Lesnar and his serious illnesses (keep getting well, big guy...at least word is he's doing better) but Larson last night. It looks like he got docked not 1, but TWO points just in round 1 and wound up losing in the second. I know I'm not the only one who thought he was probably going to steamroll his way to a shot at GSP, but suddenly he's looking like he's heading out the door (possibly being cut). What's happening?

I can't say that I had any delusions about him steamrolling his way to a title shot, but I definitely thought he would've done much better in his last 2 fights. Perhaps he's just better suited to being the big fish in a small pond.

Not just you, but about 95% of the playground.
Maybe Brock has finally been exposed at the high level. I have to see the fight first before I say more.

Yeah but its not like he is losing to Dan Hardy Mike Swick Kos Fitch GSP he lost to Brian Foster and Mike Pierce you would expect to see these fights at the WEC level.

Lol for real.
That was a really terrible fight for Larson in my opinion.

He's getting cut from the UFC now... everyone and their momma had a Brock Larson Rd 1 Sub and he tapped out in Round 2. Ouch

Should no credit be given to Foster here? I thought Foster was doing so well in Rd 2 that Brock looked a little *scared*, and I mean that.

While he had a really disappointing performance I don't think he should be cut from the UFC. That Foster guy was throwing bombs for real. I was really impressed with Foster more than I was wanting to down Larson, but it was still a really disappointing performance by Larson.

All the credit in the world should be given to Foster. His performance caught me off guard, that's for sure.
