When Georges St. Pierre and Dan Hardy face off sometime next year for the UFC Welterweight Championship, it appears neither fighter is going to have a hometown advantage. Despite specualtion it could be in either Canada or England, where it would be a quick sellout, Dana White says it likely will happen in UFC's hometown-Las Vegas.

I think this will just add to Hardy's problems on this fight as he may well get overalled by being in Vegas in such a big fight. I hope not but Hardy will not get out of rd 3 IMO
This is a win/win for me. 2 of my favorite fighters fighting for the title! I'm 99% positive that GSP will win, but if Hardy pulls off the upset, I'll be just as happy!
Although it likely isn't happening anytime soon if at all, perhaps Marius Zaromskis. Dude's been a beast since hitting DREAM.

i dont hate that call at all, but i wonder if marius could have any chance of keeping it standing. no one is as well rounded as GSP and it makes it incredibly hard to find a matchup out there for him that people can get excited about.
i wouldnt have been any more excited if swick had won either... GSP could maybe dabble in another weight class...but then risk his domination...or make him even more legendary

I would be really disappointed if GSP didnt test the waters of 185...
After he beats Hardy there is no one else in the Div he hasnt beat, unless Anthony Rumble beats Kos (which I hope he does then we have a new contender). I would like to see him follow Anderson's footsteps.
Keep your 170 belt but alternate between fighting top guys at 185 and defending. I think this is a much better option then having GSP sit out 8-9 months between fights...
Think about the match-ups, Marquardt, Sonnen, Bisping, those may not be dream match-ups but its better then nothin, plus A. Silva (I have been dying to see this fight)
Hardy and Rumble, then alternate between defending 170 and testing 185...

i'm not hardy but if i was i would take a few more tough fights and then fight gsp, hate to see the kid get schooled even though i love gsp but i also like hardy.i jus think although he has some big wins its jus too early imo
Apparently not. Dana did his recent typical flip-flop and said this fight now may headline 110 and replace Silva-Akiyama on the card. Not a done deal though.
