The NSAC has released the official fighter payouts from last night's WEC 44 event. The total disclosed payouts were $236,500 with the biggest share-$36,000-going to Manny Gamburyan. For those wondering, NEW WEC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo earned $26,000 for his title win, excluding bonuses.

If they fought I would pick Aldo by First Round KO... Manny doesnt seem very comfortable when striking and I think Aldo would exploit that before Manny could get a takedown (if he could get a takedown)

This is terrible and pathetic, When your defending champ is only getting 15k for a loss that is just sad...
I truly hope the UFC absorbs WEC soon, so they can go from getting paid nothing to getting paid something...

At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in the playground is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no props, and may the mods have mercy on your soul.

Reed Harris (WEC GM) said earlier this week that is not happening.
