I'd like to ask anyone for some reeeealy epic fights preferably from K1 or older UFC fights that i can look up to gain a wider view on MMA? I hear every now and then a name or reference to a fight i dont know so I'd like to find some of them.
THE iconic and legendary fights from a few years ago.

You want to pay attention to the Pride days. Pride is what made fighting what it is today. Pride had world class strikers, Olympic caliber wrestlers, the best no-gi jiujitsu grapplers in the world. The Gracies showed the world how important technique was, Pride showed us the Gracies were beatable, and showed us the modern mixed martial artist as well as the next generation street fighter. The UFC might have won the war, but without Pride we wouldn't have the caliber of competition we have now. Watch any old Shogun Rua fights, old Fedor fights, Mirko Cro Cop fights,Wanderlei Silva fights, Either of the Nogueira brothers, Rampage Jackson fights, Then go back and watch UFC 1 through 7 and you pretty much have your history.

Wow thanks guys MUCH appreciated. Been a fan of the CroCop, Rampage and shogun in pride but now i know :P Also need to see many more Gracie family fights only seen like 3 or 4 and they seem to be the ones that pushed the bar on MMA for a long time.

Some epic fights that are both technical with a bit of wildness, or have a crazy finish are...
Eddie Alvarez vs Joachim Hansen Eddie Alvarez vs Tatsuya Kawajiri Anderson Silva vs Yushin Okami Forrest Griffin vs Quinton Jackson Any Marius Zaromskis' fight, Hideo Tokoro fight, & Cro Cop fight
and K1, jeez where to start
Masato vs Tatsuya Kawajiri Badr Hari vs Semmy Schilt Badr Hari vs Errol Zimmerman - Sickest comeback with Badr getting hit with the hardest overhand I can remember Melvin Manhoef vs Ruslan Karaev

If I were you I'd be looking at some of the older WEC fights. I don't know how long you've been a fan for, but Torres/Mizugaki was an amazing fight that happened not too long ago.
Nick Diaz vs. Takanori Gomi in Pride was an amazing fight with an amazing finish, as well.

Barnett vs Big Nog - great ground battle
any wanderlei silva fights from his pride days
Big Nog vs Bob Sapp comes in to my head as a great fight
Don Frye vs Ken shamrock - those guys really hated each other and none of them would back down.
Matt Hughes vs BJ 2 - that was a crazy fight that lived up to the hype
Sanchez vs Parisyan - fairly recent but it was a war
Hughes vs Trigg 2 - hell of a comeback
Guida vs Griffin - recent but showed just about every aspect of mma in that fight
So many more fights but just cant think of them all

Kimo vs. Gracie was definitely an old school classic IMO.
Also Diaz vs. Lawler was another epic slugfest.
I would just suggest finding UFC 1-15 and anything with the PRIDE logo on it as far as old school stuff goes. There's also some stuff from RINGS too and some old school Vale Tudo stuff from Brazil that should definitely be watched. Kinda drunk right now or I would be more specific.
