St. Pierre eyes Hardy-Swick winner

Special to ESPN.com

A healthy Georges St. Pierre will be cage-side at UFC 105 in Manchester, England, when Dan "The Outlaw" Hardy and Mike "Quick" Swick go at it in the co-main event.

"Apparently, I will probably fight the winner of this fight, so I'm going to be watching it very carefully," St. Pierre, the UFC welterweight champion, said cheerfully.

The Canadian has pretty much cleaned out the upper tier of the 170-pound division. The Swick-Hardy winner is touted as the best of the rest.

I feel sorry for the winner, neither guy is anywhere near GSP's level. It'll be such a one sided fight.

Very true. Neither Hardy or Swick have any hope of defending a single GSP takedown imo. Id even say he could beat them both standing, but I doubt he wants to test his chin against reasonably powerful strikers like Hardy and Swick.

A lot of people thought GSP was gonna run through Serra (when they first fought) as well.
Just saying.....

But with that said, I do believe GSP will win against Swick or Hardy.

For a weight class so stacked it sucks GSP has to fight the winner of this fight but not even the top 5 guys in the world stand a chance

Of the 2 I would say swick has a better chance of beating GSP he trains with 2 great wrestlers and can always try to throw a swickateen on

He may have the swickateen, but I don't think he'll have an answer to the "riddum"

GSP has already cleaned out the division, these are the only 2 real top guys he hasn't fought yet.

Anthony Johnson is the only test left for GSP IMO. Carlos Condit still has some promise. Other than that we can only hope that another star surfaces soon.

Neither of these guys stands a chance and neither should really be fighting for a title yet.
