Corey Hill thinks of Dec. 10, 2008 every day.
The 31-year-old lightweight won the first round of his fight with Dale Hartt at UFC’s “Fight for the Troops” and was just getting started in the second when Hartt kicked him in the leg.
Hill did what he usually did back then, which was to answer force with force. He threw a counter leg kick, something to remind Hartt there would be no free throws against him.
When the five-foot-10-inch Hartt checked the right leg of six-foot-four-inch Hill with his left shin, the impact shattered Hill’s tibia and fibula.

That was a really sad ending to that fight he had a great first rd and looked like he had really improved his skill set since leaving tuf. Im stunned that he can come back after his leg broke in half

If he fights again I would like to see him move up a weight. He looks like a skeleton at LW. Corey would still hold a huge reach advantage against pretty much every WW.

Well I don't know if getting the pins out early was a good move. The last thing he needs is to come back before the leg is ready and suffer another injury.
I agree he kinda looks like a skeleton at LW but i think that is just his bone structure. Moving up to WW will just make him a small fighter in a bigger division. I'm kinda scared to see him back because those arms and legs are so long and SO thin.... but I'm excited for him and wish him success.

Is that supposed to be funny? Also, why is there a question mark after "I thought he died"? That doesn't really make sense.

i think his class is LW... he has a naturally skinny frame and the WW guys would jsut be too big for him...hes built like me..im 5 10 and could fight 135... if i fought 155 id get my ass kicked
