After taking one bout outside of the WEC, lightweight Bart Palaszewski (32-13 MMA, 1-2 WEC) makes his return to the organization at "WEC 45: Cerrone vs. Ratcliff."
MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) has learned from sources close to the event that Palaszewski has signed on to face Roufusport slugger Anthony Pettis (7-0 MMA, 1-0 WEC) at the event.
Headlined by a lightweight contest between Donald Cerrone and Ed Ratcliff, WEC 45 takes place Dec. 19 at The Pearl at The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.
Can't wait to see bart back in the wec. He's one of the best fighter to not live up to his potential. He has great striking and a brown belt in jiu jitsu. If he can put it all together on a consistent basis he could be a big threat.
i like bart but he has been beaten to the punch a lot lately and pettis is capable of doing the same thing. i dont think this is a good matchup for bart.
He has inconsistancies in his performances but I can't help but root for the guy....I know that it has to do with his time in the IFL, I just love non ppv fights.
